I saw this “unknown” gem in Elliott’s archive and was immediately bowled over like an arrow through the heart. I have seen many photographs of children for sure but this one had such emotion and power for me. This is no ordinary child. This is Elliott’s daughter looking out the window at the passing Macy Day’s parade. But it transported me and brought up all the emotions of being a parent and the vulnerability one always feels towards one’s child.Courtesy of Peter Fetterman Gallery
