“When you take a photograph, you are selecting an instant of life. It is like a personal discovery that I want to show everybody else, not as an achievement of mine but as something I want to share because I feel it is important”

ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK

Mariana was born in Chicago, left when she was 19 years old, and never came back. She found a new life in Mexico and fulfilled her artistic dreams. She built an artistic practice honoring the cultural, natural and architectural elements. It fed her spiritually and inspired her to become a Mexican citizen. An artist who created her own photo-documentary style with poetic appreciation.
