“I see that I could stop touring at anytime, but then I don’t feel like it right now. I’ve got no retirement plans”
~ Bob Dylan
ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK
Well Bob said this years ago but he is still on the road at 82 years old. A good friend and client of mine Joe, saw him recently in Chicago and told me he was “Still just fantastic”. He probably will never stop, having been on the road consistently now for decades. The late, great photojournalist Ken Regan was a man of prodigious energy himself and was the only photographer allowed by Dylan to be on his Rolling Thunder Revue Tour.
This is one of Ken’s greatest images from the tour. A card game among bandmates (clock wise from left) David Kemper, Tony Garnier, Dylan, Larry Campbell and Charlie Sexton, that took place on his tour bus in Telluride, Colorado 2001. Thank you for the inspiration Bob! Let’s all keep rocking!
