ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK

Sarah started her career as a fashion model which gave her a distinct advantage over the male dominated field at the time. With no formal training in photography in 1968 she was given a camera and photographed a model friend. And then she photographed other model friends and fashion editors started to notice and her career blossomed. She knew what it was like to be on the other side of the camera. She knew how to communicate with her models in an intimate way that no male photographer could ever come close. She understood gesture and movement because that was her training. The results like this image has secured her place in the pantheon of fashion photography and any other subject matter she decides to turn her attention to. There is no one else like her working today
