“Something catches your eye or your interest. You attack it in one way or observe it in some way and try and put it in some kind of form and take a picture. It’s as simple as that”
~ Elliott Erwitt

ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK
Sometimes a great photo is is staring you in the face. I have sat in this very spot in Elliott’s apartment many times over the years. It was always a welcome respite from the intensity of New York for me.
A cup of tea and a wonderful conversation with one of the great masters of photography. A portrait of Elliott’s daughter that I was fortunate to discover in his archive. It brings me much joy on so many levels. I miss him. A one of a kind artist and human being.
