Paul Caponigro finds ways to challenge the conventional mode of a landscape photograph. Our eyes play with the reflection and composition in this image which emphasizes the bend of the reflecting stream into a watery abstraction. One can imagine there might be some crossover inspiration between Paul's background as a pianist floating across the keys, and the flowing stream serving as a muse.
