Henri travelled to Jerusalem in 1962 on assignment for “Look” Magazine. Wherever he was he always approached his subjects with the deepest respect for their culture. He found beauty everywhere and his life’s work was a memorandum for a shared humanity even though, as many of us now feel, that peaceful co-existence is still a utopian dream.
