#1380 - Sabine Weiss

“What I don’t understand is how I was able to do so many things in the same period. That’s amazing! And completely different things. It was a very beautiful life. I don’t want to start over because it’s not advisable. But I regret nothing”

~ Sabine Weiss
(1924-2021)

ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK

Today we celebrate dear Sabine’s birth, one of the true great French humanist photographers. She never stopped working and was a true force of nature. I have so many fond memories of being in her presence and being inspired by her inexhaustible work ethic. She left us a remarkable body of work which is timeless. If you find yourself in Switzerland this summer, please do not miss her great exhibition at the Photo Elysee in Lausanne. (www.elysee.ch) Enjoy!
