ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS WORK

This is one of my favorite dog photographs by Pentti. The love of a boy and his dog is pure and unconditional, marked by unspoken understanding and mutual joy. It's a bond forged in endless play, shared adventures, and comforting companionship. Together, they create a world of simple, heartfelt moments that shape a lifetime of cherished memories.

Many photographers including Pentti Sammallahti have created great images of our wonderful four-legged friends, and this summer our friends at Center for Photographic Art are opening an excellent exhibition, Dog Days of Summer, curated by Jan Potts. As a part of the exhibition programming I will also be giving The Power of Photography lecture on Saturday, August 3rd, 3:00-4:00pm, Carpenter Hall. You won't want to miss it, stop by and invite your friends!
