It is YSL's first day in his own fashion house having broken away from Christian Dior. Will he make it on his own? A sense of excitement and nervousness is conveyed through his body language which Marc with his sophisticated understanding of the world conveys to us in a single insightful image.
I think we know the answer. YSL did indeed make it and became one of the most successful designers ever in the history of fashion.
