#1316 - William Klein

“Sometimes, I’d take shots without aiming, just to see what happened. I’d rush into crowds. It must be close to what a fighter feels after jabbing and circling and getting hit when suddenly there’s an opening and Bang! Bang! Right on the button. It’s fantastic feeling”

~ William Klein

No one possessed more kinetic energy than Bill. He kinda left all the other street photographers of his generation in the dust. He was a force of nature and determination. You better had step out of his way or be crushed in the rush. That’s why his photos have survived the test of time. There’s no one quiet like him. He is in a class of his own.
