Cig is one of my favourite living artists. I am often confused and dumbfounded by what passes for “art” these days but I am never disappointed when I encounter Cig’s inspiring work. She elevates the everyday into something special. I’m so honored today to share with you this extraordinary short documentary on Cig’s practice beautifully produced and directed by the great filmmaker River Finlay. Brava to you both.
