Robert met the distinguished cello player Maurice Baquet who was also a good actor, an even better athlete, and a passionate mountain climber. They immediately had a great creative rapport and a boundless mutual sense of humor. They created books together and many joyous photographs. One day Maurice must have suggested they climb a mountain together and his cello was invited along to join them on their adventure...Once at the top Robert’s visual wit sprang into full action and their collaboration released a new sense of even greater freedom and creativity for the photographer as is evidenced by this wonderful image.
