Ruth was a unique life force and one of the most inspiring photographers to be around. We enjoyed a long and fruitful collaboration and I had the honor to host her 100th Birthday dinner and speak at her Memorial service. She was much loved and respected and inspired so many young photographers as she paved a path for them. She was small in stature but a giant in her incredible achievements Whenever we went out for dinner she used to order a plate of liver and onions that I swear was almost larger than she was which she ate with gusto.. A tireless worker with such a big heart and generosity of spirit.
