George belonged to that old school of humanist photography like Alfred Eisenstaedt, Cornel Capa, Eve Arnold and Sabine Weiss. He loved to tell stories of everyday people but he imbued them with such heart and tenderness. That is who he was. A gentle, warm but determined observer of the human condition. He was also a skilled and technically proficient hard worker in an analogue darkroom. This physical print just glows with emotion.
