Judy’s celebrated image was taken during an Ansel Adams workshop in Yosemite where the nonagenarian photographer and Judy were both teaching. Twinka, the daughter of the great painter Wayne Thiebaud was the model working there. It is the classic image of youth and age and all those emotions it never fails to illicit almost 50 years later from viewers.
